Why Spay or Neuter Your Pet?

Spaying and neutering helps fight pet overpopulation. Every year, millions of cats and dogs of all ages and breeds are euthanized or suffer as strays. These high numbers are the result of unplanned litters that could have been prevented by spaying or neutering.
Read “Top 10 Reasons to Spay or Neuter Your Pet”.

Did you know…. One female cat can have 3 litters per year, with 1-12 offspring each time. In just 4 years, this female and her kittens can produce thousands of cats. Likewise, a female dog can have up to 2-3 litters of 1-7 puppies, resulting in hundreds of puppies with in 4 years. Many of these unplanned animals will end up on shelters, some of these will be adapted, but millions will also be euthanized.
