PayPal Donation Instructions

Thank you for your generosity in making a donation to FOWAS, Friends of the Watsonville Animal Shelter. In order to help you make this donation online, we are using the services of PayPal. You may learn more about this widely accepted and used secure payment processing company by clicking  here.

Please take the time to read the instructions below before making your first donation. If you have used PayPal before, please go ahead and proceed with your donation by clicking the link below.

If You Do Have A PayPal Account

When you click on the  donation link, you will be asked to submit a donation amount, your PayPal login, and PayPal password. Please remember that the donation must be at least $10 to be accepted. On the next screen, you will be asked to confirm your donation amount, select a funding source (pulled from your checking account, charged to your credit card, or use existing PayPal funds), and confirm the address you want to send to FOWAS. Please be sure to select an address which FOWAS will have on file for proper documentation of your donation.

Once you click the Pay button, a confirmation screen will appear. Once we receive your donation request, we will review it for completeness. You will receive an email notice from PayPal that may be printed for your records. Thank you!
If You Do Not Have A PayPal Account

When you click the Make a Donation button, you will be required to sign up for a PayPal account in order to make a donation to our PayPal account. Please fill in the required information and you will receive a confirmation of your account creation.

Once that is complete you will need to either attach a bank checking account or a credit card account number so that you will be able to fund donations and/or purchases you make using your PayPal account. You may be required to perform some verification steps to ensure that you have proper authorization to access that bank or credit card account. This is just another security precaution that PayPal uses to ensure your security.

Once a funding source has been added to your PayPal account, you may then proceed to make a donation. Fill out the donation amount and click continue to proceed. Please remember that the donation must be at least $10 to be accepted. On the next screen, you will be asked to confirm your donation amount, select a funding source (pulled from your checking account, charged to your credit card, or use existing PayPal funds), and confirm the address you want to send to FOWAS. Please be sure to select an address which FOWAS will have on file for proper documentation of your donation.
